Calici Selected for the 12th KIBO Venture Camp


At this June’s Demo Day, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO) showcased 16 outstanding startups selected from 60 innovative companies it has discovered. The event was attended by accelerators, venture capitalists, and investors, with each participating company delivering individual IR presentations to introduce their businesses.

KIBO Venture Camp is an accelerating program designed to discover and foster innovative startups in line with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ policy to vitalize the domestic startup ecosystem. Leveraging its accumulated experience in supporting technology startups, KIBO collaborates with private accelerators to nurture innovative ventures into next-generation, high-impact startups. Through this initiative, KIBO connects startups with investors, expands fundraising opportunities, supports successful entrepreneurship, and contributes to job creation.

KIBO Executive Director Young-Gab Kim commented, “Since its launch in 2017, KIBO Venture Camp has discovered and nurtured many innovative startups, helping them grow into central pillars of our economy. We will continue to expand support so that participating companies can evolve into next-generation startups and achieve further growth.”

At the event, Calici was honored with the Star Enterprise Award in recognition of its AI cloud platform for functional compound discovery, as well as its innovative business operations and sustained growth. This award highlights Calici’s strong future growth potential and its position as a leading player in the biotech sector.
